Hey guys, so as most of you know im looking to get rid of my Impala for something a little different.

Ive been eye balling the Chevy Blazers.. like the 2000'ish body style, they have 4x4 which is great in the winter and the occasional mudbog / offroading since i know afew rednecks around here lol AND since im a pretty big fan of car audio, ide have a ton of room in the back for all my subwoofers / speakers , etc etc yada yada yada

basically, is there anything i should know about that model of chevy blazer? anything to stay away from? are they good? etc etc

Actually my redneck side wanted to get a jeep wrangler for the bogging / offroading part, but then i realized that besides offroading they pretty much **** and i want the best of both worlds

blazer's even the 4x4's aren't great as an offroading mud bogger. i wouldn't go with anything toyota either i'd stick with say a smaller truck really. dakota's are fun for offroad especially around the 99-02 if you get the 4.7L v8 with a 4x4.

on the topic of blazer's/jimmy's i don't know if they changed a lot of parts from a 93' to the 00' body style but i had to rebuild my ****** at 125k miles on my jimmy. other than that, not 1 engine problem until 210k when i blew the head gasket.

Well that blazer will get around in the snow maybe fishing or hunting a little. But the first time you get it stuck make sure you shut it off and get pulled out or it will break. I know someone that traded one of those for a minivan cause they didnt like it at all and was having problems. I think you could do better unless your getting a really good deal on it.

Dodge Trannys are? Thats a bummer... theyre 4x4 AND come with a 5.2 Liter V8 Standard... it'd go well with my flowmaster 40 i got sitting around //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
