I have a kenwood 848 600wt amp and one of my 5" X 7" just blow out. What are some of the best on the market? Can you help me out. What wattage should I get on the speakers? What are some of the best speakers? Thanks

If you have about 230 bucks at your disposal i recomend that you get 2 pairs of polk audio 5 x7's. They have good sound all around. The treble and bass is very good in my explorer. With subs the treble doesn't even drown out.

the model polks i have is the EX357 5 x7.....they are coaxial speakers....

They can handle peak 180 watts. My configuration they are running on is a 100x4 watts.

Its your decision but i think that these are the best speakers that I could find for my explorer considering it has the customized 5 x 7 size.

i have the same speakers, polk audio ex357's, hooked up 2 my hu, and i love em, they dont get drowned out by my bass either. try em out.

I have an explorer myself... i have polks... I wish i didnt have polks... I hate polks.

They sound like ****.. i recomend infinity kappa 5x7... and if u can afford it get the infinity kappa 6.1 components, or someother brand...
