I have decided to get me one of these subs local audio shop sales one for $175. And now im having trouble finding an amp, anybody have any suggestions on what amp will push this sub?

if u are only running 1 u need an amp that does 750 rms at 1 ohm or 4 ohms

i got one for sale for 175 shipped

it will do 1500 rms at 1 ohm

so its enough for u to run 2 but if u turn the gain down it will work for one

 
so you're saying that if you have one sub, per say 500 rms. u need to find an amp that powers 500 rms for 4/1 ohms? but if you have two subs. you need to find an amp that powers 1000rms @ 2ohms?

i'm not quite sure how amps and subs intertwine.

Not interested in a used amp i'm buying everything new and i need suggestion on what amp, wiring and and ohms & stuff like that.

It depends on how cheap you wanna go but I've had excellent results with a 12inch power acoustic gothic sub in a small sealed enclosure for budget...

well, thats kind of an open ended question....., you can do 2500rms@1ohm, or you can do a pair of 1k-1200rms@2ohms. just have to know the amp...
