NEed help buying sub and amp.

Sup guys,

i'm needing help buying a sub and amp i don't know what to get i don't know much about this stuff i want something that will Thump real good and loud, but also i need somthin that will fit behide my seat in my truck so probbly needs to be 2 12's or 2 10's.

some where around 6-10 inchs at the bottom and 3-5 inchs...the ones i have now are in a like slant box to fit behide my seat and price range ain't to sure but not really high like 200 At the most

$200 total for the subs and amp? what size subs do you have in that box now adn what amp do you have running them? are you planning on keeping that same box, or buying another box or making your own?

wow, okay what subs do you have right now? And what amp? And what are the dimensions of your enclosure so we can see what will work well in that size.

Unless you've got some real **** in your truck its gonna be hard to get real thump and sound good too for $200. You can get a good amp that can make a sub thump for that much but trying to fit a sub in there too is gonna be hard. Plus shipping on a sub and amp will cost you about $40 so now figure you have $160 for your equipment. We need to find some **** on ebay for you, stuff that isn't the biggest baddest new ****, but really good stuff that most people don't know about. I'd say

the best value would be to get a single 18" sub if you can like a Kicker Comp VR 18" and then get a JBL 300.1 or if you can squeeze out some more money get a JBL 600.1.

These are all very reliable subs and amps, worth more than 2-3 times what they are selling for. You'd probably pay that much more for them in stores. And combination of these will thump and sound good doing it.

are the ones i'm trying to get...i don't ahve any subs in it right now i have two 10's behide the seat but there not subs there jes reg. speaker my dad put in before he gave me the truck i have a 12' sony xplod 1200 watts 350 RMS but it just plan ***** lol, how would i make a box to fit my truck

The kicker comp vr's are pretty nice. My friend has 2 of those 10''s in a nissan Spec v run by a Kicker amp. in a pretty small box too, sealed. I dont know anything about the jbl amp. I have a rockford and i mean its good, but im running components off of it so... but yeah the kicker comp vrs are decent.
