need amp to power (2) rf subs!

i have (2) rockford fosgate HE RFP3412 12" 4-ohm 400w subs in a 3/4" triangle mdf box that needs an amp...i already have a RF Punch 200.4 and a Crunch v-drive vu4.100 that powers the (4) speakers and (2) rear 8" 200w JBL subs.......i was going for either the RF Power BD500.1, Punch 500.2, or the Power 360.2 ........any suggestions as to which amp i should buy.

First Question- Why so many speakers?

Otherwise, the amp selection will really come down to what you are willing to spend.

The 360.2 and the 500.2 will both be able to sufficiently power your 2 punch 12's, however they are not nearly as flexible as the BD500.1. Basically what it is offering is a little better circuitry, suitable for handling lower ohm loads and driving subwoofers. The BD500.1 is rated to 1 ohm stable while the regular 360.2 and 500.2 are rated at 2 ohm stable. All of the amps can go a little below thier rating with little trouble though.

If you plan on upgrading frequently,(in the next year) I would say the BD500.1 is the better choice.

thanks zane....i forgot to add that i am going to place a 1 Farad Lightning Bolt Capacitor to the RF bd500.1....i heard that the "bd's" series can be affected by a cap...is that true..?.....thanks for your input...

i got 2 10" RF HE's also. I am going to get the Punch 360 in a couple months. I got the Punch 160 rite now, and the subs hit pretty hard. So i would go with the Power 360.

well i heard the 160 is severly underrated and really puts out 200-320 watts. are you sure the bd series is one ohm stable. i remember reading from the rf site that the bd is 2 ohm stable and the @2 series is 4ohm stable bridged
