If I’m wanting to put a stereo system(just 4 6x9s) but don’t wanna run a headunit in the old car, is there an amp that would run off of just usb cable? Not really wanting Bluetooth because of where I live I lose signal a lot. Thanks for any help and info

Not sure about the USB but you could do RCA to headphone jack if you plan on using your phone and it has the jack needed..

You could feed any amplifier via your phone using this.

You will need a manual on/off switch for the amp.

And a decent amp:

OFC wire from battery to the amp:

16-gauge speaker wire (up to 25ft runs 16 AWG is all you'll need):

Wire for the remote switch:

Location should have no affect on bluetooth. Think of bluetooth as a 30ft bubble all around you. The closer you are to the bluetooth device the better the signal.

How do you plan to listen to music? The amp doesn't have to have special inputs... the important part is what is playing the music you want to amplify to those four 6x9's.

You could use a phone and stream it bluetooth but would need an interface to send the signal to the amp. Unless the amp was a bluetooth amp.

A portable MP3 player. You can run the cable from the player to the amp. You would use a headphone to RCA cable of a good 20ft.

A hide away head unit. Then just connect like a typical head unit.

OR, if you are using your phone and want to use the USB-C out to send the signal to the amp...

Link to the Cable

So just Bluetooth amp would work and then hook up a way to charge my phone in the old truck. Gotcha. What are good BT amps? That are affordable and will work with just 6x9s and not doing a sub?

As Thxone mentioned, the Bluetooth will work just fine, as long as you're within the range of the amp, which greatly depends on the amp. Most are around 15 to 20 feet, respectfully. The amp to get depends greatly on your budget. As always, you get what you pay for. A good BT amp will cost you close to $300. However, if you get a separate Bluetooth adaptor and connect it to a regular 4ch amp.
