hey people. im torn by what i wanna get. its so hard to decide. as of right now, ive narrowd my choices down to one of the following: Re SX, Adire Brahma and Orion H2. which one of these can get the loudest and still sound clean? also, can someone post the best prices for each of them? thanks alot!

hmm. what bout 2 15 HCs? or did the SX replace the HC if I remember? i see that the sx is only around 270 bucks. so if i got 2 of these, would it be too loud for me to handle with 2000 watts? just wonderin.

can't really say what will be louder than the other. It's all in the install. All the subs that you mentioned, though, are bound to be satisfyingly loud.
whoops. i mean in the appropriate setup for each sub.

yeah, the SX is the HC replacement. I'm sure 1000w RMS per sub would be friggin loud. Check their website to get the recommended enclosure size. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

run 1200 to each of the sx if you decide to get them...since that's rms

adire brahma is probably on the same level as RE XXX...xbl^2 motor..

you can always ditch both, and go digital design or treo...both are more spl oriented with pretty good sq...

what exactly are you looking for sq or spl...?

but whichever one you get, build a ported box for it...and make sure you have enough power to give the sub...you won't go wrong with whatever is posted up there

RMS ratings are thermal, and will differ according to the enclosure the sub will be housed in. You dont' have to give the sub full RMS watts to make the sub perform. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i want loud sq. like being able to crank it without it sounding like a fart. thats why i want the sx and the brahma now. the brahma is clean. ive never heard the sx, but its supposed to be louder than the brahma and be less clean. personally, right now i want an sx.

i have an orion 12.2 h2 on a orion 1200d. The box is ported and in the cargo area of my explorer. I have the sub facing up with the port firing back. I just got it metered today and hit a 148.6 legal. So going by that if you can afford it i would recomend goin with two h2's. Mine sounds good on all types of music and as you can see can give you a little bit of spl at the same time.
