Actually the prices arent bad around here. I could get into a new 07 Tahoe LTZ (z71 version) for around 36K not bad concidering those were going for around 45 a few years ago. The big American auto makers are hurting, and vehicle pricing is showing it.

yah, we payed 20 for my car brand new and they go for 15,5-17 all day now for the options i have.

The new tahoes r growin on me. I still love the '99 bodystlye though...esp the 2 door. As much as i drive i couldn't afford to have a V8.

i dont like the old tahoes, theres a HUGE deadspot in the steeringwheel so you're constantly adjusting just to go in a straight line.

Exactly. My mom has an 03 Tahoe and it's a pain in the *** to keep straight. The new ones are just plain sexy, especially in black with the "sport" package. And I don't see how they have a "rounded concept" look. They seem no more rounded than the previous generation....

I justr drove my new 01 home and it kept streight with no problems. nahhh i like the boxstyle awhole lot better. not saying i wouldn't get a new one, i guess ti just hasn't grown on me yet. my mom's got an '03 that i'm itchin to throw a system in, but she ain't havin it:crying: friends got an '01 that he's doin all kindsa stuff to

isn't that the way it's always been though? IIRC all the escalades had wre just more peices on the body to make it look different, like the peices above the fender etc. etc. and of course the wood grain and what have u

top half looks the same doesn't it? basically a tahoe with a body kit
