yea too bad they're fugly and are poorly made. not trying to bash, but i have a friend with the exact same ride....gtp right? i didn't look at the link carefully. anyhow, a couple years ago i had to take my moms TL (225hp 5AT) for some routine maintenance and i happen to run into this aquaintence with that same car. he kept asking to "race for money." anyhow, i already knew what he had, 3.8L pushrod boosted iirc....so i knew he was faster than my mom's car already. he kept doing non stop ricer fly by's, so i told him to follow me to my house. got to my house, hopped in MY RIDE, drove a couple blocks away to this 5 mile stretch of road that's always dead, and we made a couple runs. all i can say is he had no chance, and this was when we were both stock (and 4AT might i add). i mean if he was faster, i wouldn't say anything, but those car's are overrated AND hideously ugly. my mom's car kept up with him fine but he would pull away around 40~50mph or so from a dig. i just buttraped him throughout and i had way more wheelspin issues than him (shitty bald tires)
all aluminum 3.5L 4 valve/cyl DOHC V6 vs. cast iron 3.8L 2 valve/cyl PR V6

Actually the VQ35 is a pretty **** good motor, so your kill isnt anything unexpected.
