If running a 2-3 amplifiers system
and a dsp
After market headunit

1 Does it matter if they are all grounded at the same place with a grounding block

vs each having a ground at their own locations.

2. or is this just a have to do what ever option it takes to not have ground noise in the system

I have one wire going to the grounding point and then use a grounding distribution block sending out the ground to the amplifiers and soon the DSP when I install it. Never had an issue doing it that way for years and years. They make specific distribution grounding blocks.

I think you can test the voltage drop at different points in your electrical system. You can test your ground, I watched a nice video about it by (guessing a little here) CarAudioFabrication on YouTube.
A good ground will have low voltage drop? Or very low resistance?
But its a legit way to make sure your grounds are doing a great job.
