Mounting a 12 inch sub to a custom box

I am new to the speaker box building community and have no idea what kind of screws to mount the subwoofer with. The box is already built and all I have to do is drill and mount the subs. I know t-nuts should be used but should I use metal or plastic screws? Should I use additional gaskets is the sub already has its own? It seems stupid, but can someone please help.

IF THE SUB FITS TITE IN BOX

USE 1.5 INCH SCREWS IF SUB IS LOOSE

USE A HIGH GRADE SEALER AND GLUE IT IN AN

USE 2'' SCREWS

man make sure that box is seald good cause one hit and it aint seald good it will blow that sub. if i was u i would take it and get it rino lined and would make it hit harder cause the box wont flex easye

my box is 3/4" mdf. I used 4 1" drywall screws. First drilled a hole with my rotary tool (which happened to be smaller than the screw stem's thickness). Then just drilled it in the hole.

I hope I didn't crack anything cause I got some high-pitched screeches and stuff
