More subs... Same amp?

I am currently running 2 Infinity 1230w SVC 300w RMS 1200w peak subs on a MTX 801d Amplifier. Would it be possible to run 2 more infinity 10's or 12's on this amp or would I have to daisy chain another in? BTW the Subs are 4ohm and the amp gives specs for both 4ohm and 2ohm. The 2 Subs i currently am running are parralel bridged too 2 ohm, and sound decent in my ported box, but I was going to try 4 in a sealed and see what happens:p

well I guess as long as you wire them properly you could. But off the top of my head you'd be stuck with a 4ohm load because you'd have to do a combo of series and parallel wiring with the pairs of subs. I'd personally daisy chain another amp and run them separately on that amp. Because you'd be adding more subs but loosing half your RMS wattage due how you'd have to wire them for the amp to operate within it's spec'd limits.
