Mono Amp Choice- RF 3001 or Alpine V12 mono 300

I am going to be adding a RF Stage 3 Punch 4 ohmDVC(10in) to my system, and I am having a problem figuring out which mono amp to get. I will be wiring the sub for 2 ohms.

I was looking at the new RF Punch 3001 or the Alpine 300 V12. Both 300 rms x1 @ 2 ohm

The RF is class A/B and the Alpine is class D. I am not sure if that matters, but I was just trying to get some opinions. The price is basically the same, so that should be taken out of the equation.

Oh, and I am running a Alpine 9831 HU, Alpine F350 for the speakers. I don't know if completing my system with the Alpine mono amp is really a big deal, but is it something to consider?
