why strap at .5 ohm at 2ohm strap they will put out about 3300 rms

i'd be wary of trying to get a full 3kw out of that measly electrical system at any impedence... your amps are gonna be "all crisped up," or if you're lucky, just your alternator. should be ok with a good alternator, although you may want to add a 2nd big battery in the back later on depnding on how it keeps up.

The discuss amps actually come with a red sheet that makes a clear point of saying that the amp is NOT stable at .25 or .5ohm. So, to reiterate what has already been said, dont run below what the manufacturer recommends.
