I'm thinking maybe a Lime Green bug......with white interior and green piping.....and maybe an old school PPI Art 4ch amp...with a nice componet set up front and a single DD 10 in the rear.....

shit when i worled at a VW dealership we never had any problems with the bug they feel weird to drive tho the dash looks huge and most people put fake flowers in the vase

The Mini reliability and VW are probably equal. Their electronics and interior plastic parts are the most problematic areas. And Trey beat me to posting the HPA car. Is that the VR6 version? A few years back, someone swapped in the complete drivetrain from a 911 Turbo. TT Flat-6 and AWD. MmmMmmm sleeper!

If you really wanna get her a bug, get her a tdi. It'll last forever. 2.0L engines have alot of electrical & fuel problems; 1.8L Turbo's are really expensive to maintain. VW auto trannies in general **** and don't take much punishment. I haven't been into vw's in a while, but I'm pretty sure they threw the vr6 in beetle's at some point; which would probably be a good choice.
