It's the only competition within a 15 hour drive this year.

Yeah, well, I just scrapped the sub enclosure and I'm starting over on the trunk. Didn't like the way the other one was coming out. I think the door panel are going to the upholsterer this week cause I'm sick of not having an armrest and a handle to open the door from the inside. I'm waist deep in tiling my kitchen and part of my living room (stupid dog decided he didn't like the carpet in the living room so he removed it.). Sometime during all that I have to run my power wiring and get the XXX ready to go. Trying to decide whether to go ported or sealed. I think I have the room for ported and it might be best with the small amount of power I plan on running to it (250HCCA) but I just like the sound of sealed. Trying to decide whether to go ported or sealed. I think I have the room for ported and it might be best with the small amount of power I plan on running to it (250HCCA) but I just like the sound of sealed. I'm sure I'll figure something out.

I am sickeningly over protective of the 2100. It is my baby. I don't want to run the risk of blowin up that amp by running it at 1 ohm bridged. I was actually considering special ordering my XXX with the D4 config to run with that amp, cause it puts out considerably more than 800 watts @ 2 ohms. You gotta remember that I am not too concerned about getting loud. 500 watts on that sub would probably be enough for me. The 250 will put out about 1kW @ 1 Ohm bridged. That should be more than enough for my taste.

Sadly enough I will not be there this weekend. I've been swamped with replacing the flooring in most of my house for the last 2 weeks and the car is nowhere near being in a condition to drive for that distance. Hell, the system is still mostly in the boxes.

Good luck and have fun! I think there is a comp in Lethbridge later this summer and there is also the airshow. I am trying to be the one to go from my unit and bring a Huey to the airshow. Even if I don't fly up there, I'll be making the trip for that one!
