I posted a few weeks ago about how i had the only reg. cab ranger i knew of that had a pair of 12's in it.....congratulations, sir, on being #2. I accomplished it by swapping the original bench-bucket seats out for a pair of buckets. It looks a lot nicer, a lot roomier, plus I GOT BUMPS! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
The box I built for 12's is 14" in height, 36" in width, 12" deep at the bottom and 6.5" deep at the top. Using 3/4" MDF for construction, i got a sealed enclosure with almost a foot of cubic air space per chamber (somewhere in the neighborhood of .95 feet). I'd highly suggest finding either a nissan 300zx, a ford escort, or a mid-90's probe to donate a pair of buckets for your ride. if you install them right, not only will it enhance the look of your interrior, but you'll have WAY more room for what's really important: BUMPS.
I also had an idea, and I'll try to get my drawings scanned as soon as their finished, for center and overhead consoles for my truck. I'd use the center as an amp rack and the overhead to show off my wiring (switches, distro blocks, fuses, etc.). Right now my amp is bolted down between the seats, and it looks okay, but a motorized amp rack would look soooooo much better, don't ya think?
