Creating the new tabs is easy....
The issue is getting the macro to recognize (a) the changes in column A and (b) to move them into that tab.
hmmmm, and youve already got the extract function there? youre just trying to make it automated each time a change is made. I dont think Im understanding the question. Maybe im just a dumbass.

You can use the recorder to create and label the new tabs....you don't have to know the code.

If I could figure out how to make excel "group" like items in category A, I can move them to different tabs.

 
Well he replied back but this is what he said

I would need to see the spreadsheet to determine the logic that would be used. The code has to be specific to the data type and data held in the cells to be sorted. So it takes a few minutes to develop a game plan before writing any code. No biggie thou.

Yes, I couldn't send the exact S/S...for sure. But I can try to invent something without any info to see if he could get it to work.

I see where he's coming from and it makes sense.
