Well I've never heard Phoenix Gold subs but I know their amps are pretty good, so I figure the subs wouldn't bee too bad either.

gellis is a flamer ive already got into it with him over Ma Audio my set up right now is 2 12inch Hard KORE subs the 4400 rms amp and the Ma Audio 5 farad cap my alternator also pushes 180 amps and ive got 2 extra batteries where the trunk is im wiring and dynamating this weekend so if u hold out for like 2 weeks ill tell u what i hit on a dB meter with my set up if u want Ma Audio be prepared to hear some shit on here people dont realise that the Hard Kore subs are nothing like the typical Ma Audio subs because i know the older subs i wouldnt put in my car either but the new ones are pretty good, ive heard them but havnt heard mine yet installed so my advice is hold out until i get my stuff done and ill give u a heads up on the Ma Audio stuff. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/peace.gif.2db28b618ed8d1964ebbe2f5021d2c39.gif

should have looked at your link first but the subs i have are the best ones they make their part of the HARD KORE line up and mines ratted at 3000 max trust me its a monster.

the 12 inch HARD KORE is 3000 max, the amp i have is 4400 rms but ill have 2200 to each sub mono at .5 ohm. could care less if they blow up their warrantied for 2 years.

the kores he is talking about are baby kores. the real kores 15"/18" are 10,000W. MA Audio subs are not for sq. mostly spl. thats why they have kores. comp sub not sq sub.

hmm... I'm a flamer?? Ma stuff is like 'bahn in my eyes. Crap. I'd never put anything like that within a 10' radius of my Jeep, and if someone rolled up next to me w/ MA i'd probly just laugh in their face and drive away. Not to say that they might work for some people.. I just think that their stuff blows. *note: personal opinion*. Who knows, maybe with time their stuff will become noticeably better and then i'll think about it.. but as of right now they are just one notch above legacy to me.

If Comp VR's are too much money I suggest you go work 80 hours and go buy a half decent sub, theres no point in buying 40 dollar subs.
