ok i think i got a good deal what do u think?? im running 2 12inch Ma Audio hard kore subs and the matching amp 4400 rms mono amp and a 5 farad cap for little under $2000. its all warrantied for 2 years not to mention all the free crap i got banners posters enough dynamat to cover my trunk headliner and doors plus almost all the power and ground cables for nothing. basically using my pocket book to hit the dealers record dB for around here i told him no stops so this is where im at right now money wasnt an object should hit 155 easy i know one 15inch hard kore was the loudest single speaker ive ever heard by far!!! think i got a good deal including hte warranty? im asking cuz i dont hear to much bout Ma Audio.

There is without a doubt better subs/amps for the money, but if you've already heard it and are pleased, then stick with it.

If you really want some high numbers and money is not very important, then check out Digital Designs 9500 series.

Was the dynamat free? If so, good job on making sure you got hooked up :thumbsup

just because i bought like 2000 dollars worth of stuff so i got it for free gonna dynamat the car this weekend and start the box next weekend the trunk will be tighter than a plastic bag when im done. going to have one square port through the arm rest in the back seat of my grand prix should be zero air pressure in the trunk. like i said i got them all warrantied too so well see how i do should defenatly bring home a SPL trophy if i can hit my goal of 155 dB.

zero air pressure ay? probably not going to happen. unless there is a vacuum in your trunk. did you mean an atmospheric pressure of 0? i dont see how you are going to get that accomplished with 2 subs firing in there. even if they were in a bandpass box with the ports firing into the backseat and the trunk was completely sealed, sound pressure would still emanate from the inside of the car to the trunk.

i just meant that the whole trunk will be sealed and there will be one port through the arm rest of the rear seats. the doors headline and trunk are all dynamated

alright my mistake after i looked up some stuff from the12volt.com there will be some air pressure in the trunk. the subs will fire into the back seats of the car and there will be one port in the center going through the arm rest. the back of the box will be 1/2 inch plexi glass along with the floor covering the amps. each sub will be in at least 4 cubic feet.

theres also 3/4 inch mdf under the rear deck so the rear speakers dont soud like crap. then im going to seal around the plastic baskets the 6x9's sit in so no air from the trunk gets to the 6x9's. the headliner and doors are also dynamated. also all the body gaps and seams in the trunk will be filled with expansion foam and and any other gaps after the box is in place. the whole box will be 3/4 inch double layered and braced to make it 1.5 inches thick. no flex :thumbsup

me too.. he saw MA audio in a magazine and thought it was of the heezy fo' sheezy.
that would be pyle, blitz, db audio, and other no name brands. Ma Audio is not crappy, its middle of the line. Alot of MA Audio haters, i dont know why, its cheap $$.
