ma audio: good or bad?

i was thinking of buying the ma audio hk1997 amp and i just wanted your input on whether its worth it or not. it will be pushing to 15" kicker cvr's and the amp says it is 1200 watt rms so it should work. any input will be appreciated. thanks

Well, just talking out of my a$$, I get the general impression that MA audio is OK, but nothing to masturbate about.

One of the mags tested the big HK amp and it made rated power, over 4kW worth. So it should at least make power if not a hair more.

They make good power at a reasonable price.

they are alright but I wouldn't touch anything they make.
