loss of power

your amp is trying to draw more power than your alternator can provide when your engine is idleing, as when you slow down. there are two ways to solve the problem. first, the expensive route: replace your stock alternator with a high-output model. second, the cheaper and easier route, install a cap. i think a .5f cap will work, but, ask for advise. if you plan on eventually adding more amps with more power, you may need to upgrade the alternator anyway, along with the caps. hope this helps.
