Wasn't one amp this happens to a lot of people from a bad batch I figured that maxxsonics would recall them or something

They would if the amps were coming from an authorized dealer, but they're not. Buying on the grey market works like this, man. You spend less for the product, but you aren't going to get a manufacturer's warranty...

I remember the GTO 1200.1 I bought from Harman Audio on Ebay.. I thought I burned it up.. and sent it back.. got a 1400.1 as replacement.. It's not the end of the world, man. Return the amp and buy another one. You'll be out a few bucks, but worse things have happened...
