Looks like mb quart fails

I take back every thing I have ever said about mb quart bring good... My dsc 1500 got here today and... What's that? Oh it won't produce power!!! I have 12.6v at the amp good ground of .5 ohms which is acceptable and the exact place I had my last amp grounded to.. **** turns on and boom no power from the channels... Hooked up like it's supposed to be and all... Now i know there was a bad batch of discus but ****** recall that **** people shouldn't still be getting those.. Anywho I will entertain suggestions of what it could be and try to get it to work before Monday when I send it back.

In all seriousness, you bought a discontinued amp from a grey market dealer (was it sonicelectronix.com?). This type of thing happens. Send it back and find yourself a different amplifier...

It's been said that there was a defective batch of Discus series amps. Most, that I've noticed anyway, came from sonicelectronix...and this was MONTHS ago. They should've refurbed their stock or sold it back to Maxxsonics. Instead, they've continued selling them to customers. This is, in my opinion at least, something to be blamed on the seller instead of the manufacturer...

lolz, one dud and you throw mb quart under the bus. **** happens man. Its life, get over it. Did you check the fuses? Hook up power and ground wrong and fry the amp? Either way, sometimes amps will slip through quality control. You are seriously overreacting.

The Discus amps are discontinued, and have been for quite a while now. If I were you, I'd return the defective one and purchase the same amp used in the classifieds. I've seen them go for $150. At that price, you'll do no better...
