Looking for tight, accurate sub

I listen to jazz and bands like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Metallica and James Brown mostly and only listen to hip hop or rap sometimes so accuracy and tightness of bass notes is more important to me than loudness and lowness. I am thinking about buying a focal sub. Probably a 27 lux or 33 lux. What do you think? Are there other subs that I should consider?

in my boat i just got a single diamond audio tdx 12" in a 1.5 cu ft sealed box with 1200 watts going to it. it is one of the most accurate subs i have owned. i would take it over a W7 any day as far as accuracy goes.

AA Koda is a component set, not a subwoofer driver.
