Looking for Sealed Enclosure Sub Option for Alpine PDX-V9 500wrms

Documentation included with the amp says it tested at 525wrms so I got a few extra watts to work with. Vehicle is a 2002 Ford Escape, I tried out a kicker 6.75 sub in the factory box and I basically wasted my money going that direction. I was hoping to save space and get something decent and stay stealth. Luckily I returned it to amazon and they told me to keep the sub instead of sending it back. I guess they know its a POS too. Anyway, Im looking for a good sub to take advantage of everything amp has to offer and keep it in a small footprint in a sealed box either in the rear passenger footwell or the front passenger footwell. I carry stuff in the back quite often so I cant have a giant ported box taking up space.

Im mainly looking at slimline subs like the JL 13.5TW5 or even the Sundown SD3. Im not set on any 1 brand just a few options that I can take to CL and see what deals I can get. I listen to electronic, rap, reggae, and classic rock. My whole interior has been dynamatted, heat insulated, and lined with MLV.

What are the specs on the mkiii? Do you have a box to go with it? I cant find the technical data on their website, but their other subs look pretty good, and some old reviews on the forum favor it.

I don’t have the specs, I’m sure they are floating around on the internet somewhere. All the mk series shallow subs were specifically designed to go in .5-.6 cubic feet sealed. That is the optimal enclosure for them. I can sell 1 or the pair if you’re interested.

Whats the power handling of these? Are they 10s or 12s? Im really just looking for 1 to keep the footprint as small as possble and still take advantage of my 525wrms of amp power. Do you have a single box you could include with a single sub? Ill keep looking for specs.

be cheaper for u to buy or build box, shipping kills on boxes

i'd snag his audiofrog. That sub is friggen sweet.

It does look nice but, its probably too deep for where I want to put it. I need something on the slimmer side, 10” is probably my max diameter. My space for a box is 13”Wx16”Lx5”D on the low side for fit partially under the seat and could be angled up to maybe 10” high on the side that touches the rear bench seat.

The GS10d4 audiofrog is about 7” deep

It's a Volvo factory amp, so there's a custom wire harness between the head and amp.
