Looking for a new car. Any suggestions...

USED car. New to me I guess.

Of course first looking for good mileage. - I drive about 15 minutes to school every day and go to my parents about once a month, which is about 3 hrs away. 230 miles.

I'm a college kid that's pretty much broke and also trying to buy a new 50" Samsung DLP LED HDTV and when it comes out, the HTC vx6800 phone...

I just can't decide on something and am pretty open to ideas. Plus my car I have right now is about to eat the ground and I want to be able to at least get some money as a trade in.

Coupe/sedan/sporty. I can't drive a 5 spd though.

Just looking for an idea of something you guys know is reliable and good mileage.

Buy a Civic. Just don't treat it like most kids do.. Think body kits, rims and a spoiler that makes the car look like a shopping cart. Or a Camry.. personally im a fan of american made cars, i dont like the feeling that im in a sardine can...

check out autotrader, u can search local cars, set a price limit, year range, blah blah all that. thats what i do when im bored. im also shopping for a car. was going to get a 02 lincoln ls but i waited to long. i called the dealer and he told me he JUST sold it i was so sad =(

I was looking on auto trader because thats where I got my first car - my friends have civics and I love them they're sweet cars - but I can't find anything decent. The Sioux Falls/Fargho area is hard to find a good car.

Oh, no doubt. I love American cars as well. However, the cheapest, safest and most fuel efficient cars on the road today are either Asian or German.
