And then SQ capability (relative toothers mentioned here)

Everybody's own individual opinion is important - question's difficult as there will certainly be bias, im jus curious as to what u all think.

I'll let ya in on a little something JT, I don't think I've actually heard one of the subs you've mentioned, but I have READ about a lot of them.

I would have to say juggs and strokers for spl.

As for SQ, I'm more of a believer that enclosure is the biggest factor, not so much what sub. After all, a sub moves air, and I've yet to find an explanation as to why air moved by sub a, would sound better than air moved by sub b, just my opinion of course.

The Audiomobile "Mass 12" is one hell of good sub for both spl and sq, and at 300 bucks a pop, its a good deal too.

I've heard some Planets and they are okay. The ones that I heard were 15s and they sound about as good as 2 JL Audio 12w3s or Lightning Audios. The guy had a 1200 watt Farenheit amp pushing it so.........

Nobody sayin nething bout the HCCAs???Or the HSL???Someone I spoke last week said that in the right boc the HSL would kill ne of the above. ...........but that's the $1,000,000 question isnt it - what is the right box for any of them????Hmmmm....the search continues...

has anyone heard anything from kove? yea where i come from kove is the shit. i think kove is one of the best subs around. they have awesome bass. they have award winning KLD Series ll and their Armageddon Series M, Z, and U 2 series put out huge amounts of spl and rms.

JT - il put my *** on da line anmd tell u this. in the right box with nice clean amp signal, the HSL WILL KILL ANY OTHER SUB YOU HAVE LISTED.PERIOD. They bump of low power are cheap and a whole van of these ****ers will have you deaf (or dead) before you reach 50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
