How would a cker 01C12vr4 hold up with a Crunch P2250 amp? Each channel is 250 watts so I woulod bridge them for the kicker then wire the coils in parrell?

you've got a problem. Your amp wouldn't be able to handle the 2ohm mono load if you bridged it. you would have to to connect the coil in series(8ohms), while bridged. and you would only get a fraction of the power. Another thing is that the amp you bought over rates their equipment, so you would put out a max of 250x2 at 4ohms. Don't try to run each channel to each coil unles you split one of the channels. what i mean by that is that you'd have to take, for example, the right channel rca and and buy something that would split the right channel RCA into two right channel RCAs and leave the left channel alone. Its hard to explain but i know what you'd have to buy. go to radio shack and ask them.

Ok, then what would you think would be able to handle the 2 ohm load? I don't get to hear very many amps where I live, all my friends just have best buy ****. I have to go on what other people think.

the kicker KX400.1 would work perfectly for that sub. I'm sure rockford has something nice as well. Just keep in mind your going to get what you pay for.

thx but...... i've lost the dream of kickers, I think im gonna go with 2 MTX 6000 4 or 8 ohm 500 watt subs... I really want to run 2 ohms but I don't have to much money to throw around with an amp.. I do however have some x-mas $$$ to bestbuy.. im thinkin rockford?.......
