Ok heres my delema, i was on my way to buy two 12" kicker square solobarics, when i see my friend pull out of the store with the set up i wanted, the two 12". I don't really like it when someone tops me, so should i upgrade to two 15" square solobarics? or should i just cool myself off and stick with the 12"? If anyone knows of subs that hit harder then the solobarics 12" or 15", that is less then the price of the solobarics, then tell me, thanks!

i would kick the s### out of that friend of yours..and if that fails.. just **** it up and get them man.. maybe custom your enclosure or something.. make it look pretty.. so you can say.. hey F*** head mine hits as hard as yours.. but so pretty.. dunno..; ) but i do understand how you don't want the same equipment as someone else.. naturally.. i just got a sweet ass belt from structure.. and my friend had to be a ***** and get the same one right after.. ***** my ass.. but the belt kicks.. so i wear it!!!!!!!!

like the guy above me said, get a nice looking box to go along with ur subs, and get a better amp than him, then u'll be pushing more power and he'll feel like a jack @ss.

get the 2 12's make a custom box , the s7 sounds good in a sealed box but hit like hell in a slot load box. you can download the box specs from kicker.com. hook up about 750-1000 watts of good clean power with a sub sonic filter and anything he has should be put to shame. remember bury that hatchet, DEEP!

If you really want to outproform him and have all of those great bragging rights then go for it. It is not really that much more expensive and I personally have 2 15L7s and they hit harders than a MFer. If I turn them to 35/60 on my HU so much air is pushed that I feel like I am in a wind tunnel during a 9.0 earthquake. They are very, very powerful. However if you want to stick to your budget and just let maintain a good friendship then do what the other people suggested: Get 2 12L7s and make it look pretty and also get a more powerful amp than his. Since he got his system first it will be easier for you to outperform him. Good luck.

stick to the 12"s and get a KICKER AMPS as well!!! woohoo!

if you want the 15's i dont reccomend it. get u some 12" juggernauts and a good amp and you will hit harder than u ever thought possible....your friend will be so pissed
