if ya did the solo...two mojo's (5000wrms) would be plenty..but u would need a 400amp alt just for the amps..or a 290 alt and about 4 batts..and u would need about 10ft^3 for the sub...at least 1.5" thick box......

if ya do the 2 (or 3) L7's...hifonics 1500 would be a good choice (better then the jbl, which is a total current hog) or memphis 1500, mtx 1501d or a single mojo for both (or all 3)

like steve said..they offer the solo's in 10" and 12" sizes...so u could do two 12" solo's...each with it's own mojo...but you would definitely need to upgrade elec...see above

but 2 15" L7's...in about 8ft^3 (or so) tuned around 34hz...with 2000 wrms (see memphis mojo..2400wrms) would be sic loud in ur explorer and with a 240--290 amp alt upgrade, wouldn't tax ur electrical system and allow u to upgrade and amp ur mids and highs...

The Solo X 18 can be used daily...95% of the ones we sell are street cars...not only SPL competition vehicles...but the 12X and 10X may serve the purpose as well.

With a pair of either JBL 12001 or Kicker KX12001 per driver, is enought IMHO for daily driving.

No, I'd still take the two 15's....

the solox would be louder than 3 L7....of course a lot depends on the box and no you don't have to have 10,000 watts to push this speaker a lot of it depends on box size,port size......the only way you would need 10,000 watts to push a solox would be in a spl enclousure designed for 56hz and above......i put a meter on mine last night at the shop and it did a 155.6 on the dash with a 10ft ported box with 2 planet audio 2200d.
