I think it should be alright if you just watch it. I am running my HC right now with no SSF but only off 200 watts to tie me over till my amp gets back. No issues there. You are just concerned with too much excursion that can dammage the woofer, and most songs don't have that low of bass.

Well assuming the rms is 150 with the CA600m just set the gain a little bit higher than necessary and all should be fine.

i wouldnt worry about it, unless youre playing continuous test tones way below tuning frequency for some reason like a dumbass

its not for me its for someone else...

now the what i can do is get the ca400m instead of the ca600m

specs PER sub are 150rms 300max

specs of 400m are rms320@2ohms = 160watts per sub

specs of 600m are rms420@2ohms = 210watts per sub

i will be running it @ 2ohms, thus the reason for me only giving specs @ 2ohms

price difference is only 4 bucks so i was gonna get the 600m BUT if its less risky to go w/the 400m then i will do so!

with the 400m youd have alot less chances of ruining the coils in the subs. But with the 600m if you set the gain considerablly higher than necessary you should be fine.
