I want it to give out as much bass as possilbe but it says Peak powering handle is 800 watt. So does that mean i should only get a 800 watt? Where can i find a good amp to push this as far as it can go for under $250

These subs are avaliable in both dual 2 ohm and dual 4 ohm. My first system had 2 12" Comp VRs and I ran them off a early Sony Xplod model amp that was rated @ 150Wx2 @ 4 ohm. The subs sounded great at this lower power level, but i definitly think they would have sounded better with more power. Sony has a new amp the XM-DS1300P5 thats rated @ 400Wx1 @ 2ohm. That would be a great amp to power it. The amp retails @ $249, you could probably find it for around $200 or less online

RMS, 800 peak, install and user dependant.

Get a Coustic 401db, 400w rms @ 2ohm.

Friends dont let friends buy sony. Their car audio equipment is unrealiable and the power ratings are over rated. Buy yourself maybe a nice Rockford mono amp or even a JBL bp 600.1.
