kenwood subs

can anybody tell me if the Kenwood KFCW3003 12" subs are any good? they are 4ohm single voice coil 160w rms - 600w max

I actually havent heard them, but I have one 10" Kenwood excelon dB+ in a factory sealed box and it bangs. Its rated about 200w rms, 800w max. It is more expensive then the one you questioned about, but is a better sub. They normallysell at about $200.00 for the sub alone, but if you have a Good Guys in your area they sell the sub in the sealed box for $149.99. You can also purchase a 3year warranty on it so if anything happens to it Good Guys will replace it with a brand new one.

i have 2 in a sealed box in my car and i think they sound pretty good. i will, however, upgrade the subs, when funds are available, along with a RF class BD amp.
