any time i did salvia, it was less like a trip, per se, and more like just being extremely ****ed up. Any alteration i had to my perceptions were incredibly 'real' and disturbances with the things that were actually around me, not 'additions' like people describe high dosages of lsd.

I never thought things that weren't true, or 'saw things' or 'went places' in my experience, the effects were more outwardly focused, and were things such as sideways gravity, pulling or pushing me over to the side, and my vision rotating, or spinning, as well as a complete loss of coordination and balance.

The only effect of salvia that seems 'trippy' to me, is the complete loss of ego, or self-awareness, which is also experienced to a lesser degree with pot. I think this effect is really just your mind almost in shock, because these effects linger for hours after the salvia wears off. Well after the buzz is over, you feel very 'disconnected' and 'out of it' but i think these effects are mostly a 'panic' reflex that salvia triggers in your brain, and not the effects of the saliva itself, because smoking stronger pot than you're used to, or using it in an uncomfortable setting can create the same effects, which i would credit to discomfort, or a panic attack being triggered by the drug, or the intense rush of serotonin you get from 'coming up' on either drug.

I guess what i had was better than what you had mate or its just a different experience. IT was pretty **** funny, but it scared everyone else so they wouldnt try it. It all has to do with your mindset before you do it how you will feel after you smoke it.

Ive had a hippie friend explain experiences he's had on this shit to me. It can get pretty crazy. It's pretty much just a 10 min version of acid though. Yes, I was sweting my balls off, but then I got real cold. And yes, I used a water bong and followed the instructions on the website on how to smoke it. Next time I may try a bit more, like maybe 37mg,we'll see though

why not just take acid?

Safer, no records of flashbacks years after your last hit like with acid, sapposeably a totally differnt type of hallucination. Unlike Acid, PCP, or Shrooms (which are also sapposeably different), salvia takes you out of body. While youy are high you sit there like a vedtable baby. You can interact with people but you will make no scence at all. I know shrooms take what is going on and distorts it, adds colors, slows music down. Ive never tried (and never will try) acid or PCP simply because of the long lasting side effects.

I took a couple gravities to the head last week of my buddy's dank stash. Felt like I was going to have a heart attack, and couldnt make sense of anything that was going on around me. I was wondering if it was laced with somthing. Maybe if the ******* had told me he was feeling the same way, I would have enjoyed it more. Needless to say, our plans of going out and drinking went to shit, and we ended up sitting on the couch vegitating for the rest of the night. Way to ****ed up to function around normal people.

I'm actually glad this happens to someone else. All of my friends tell me i'm crazy that i can get that high, to where i can't function, and am just compeletely confused, and my heart pounds, and i can't seem to drink enough water...........

The rest of my friends i used to smoke with could do two or three gravity bongs, and just chill out, and i'd be sittin there sweating, just waiting to die, hahahaha, and it made it that much worse that i knew they were fine, and just relaxing.

I guess it truly does just affect different people in different ways.

one time I sat and smoked an 8th to myself in one sitting, and to sum it up, I tripped balls, when I was laying in bed i serisously thought i felt what it was like to die, and i could make out strange patterns on my walls and ceilings, and sometimes Id just zone out and it was like my room was a completely different place. People underestimate just how strong mary J can be, Ive had friends who had the most intense trip (even more than acid or shrooms) from eating brownies

i've noticed slight visuals from certain types of pot.

not so much a hallucination, but more just the usual "tv static" you see if you're in the dark, or a dimly lit room, but really intense, and a lot more noticeable than usual, regardless of the lighting

and sometimes my vision will become choppy, almost like a strobe-light, which usually accompanies a feeling of time going by realllllly slowly
