Anyone on here look/know of any decent job sites to check out?

In short, Im moving to look for work (it really cant get much worse than my area) but dont know a whole lot about where Im going, as far as companys in the surrounding area. All the sites Iv looked at eather want you flippin burgers, or a PhD...

Just tryin to get a bigger idea of sites I may have missed?

(ps, sorry for 2 threads on a kinda similar topic, Id just work very well to have an idea of places to go as soon as I got there instead of wasting time just wondering around. I'll be heading to Lexington Ky soon, if that may help?)

Yeah iv looked at mostof what you listed and like I said it's full of burger king or heart Surgan jobs. Ehh I'll just keep looking and hope for something. Thanks for an actual answer

You're around 24 years old I'm guessing from you screen name? There's a lot of companies that hiring survey hands for natural gas pipeline jobs that are going on. It's a decent job and you get per diem because you're out of state and travel. It usually starts anywhere from 12-16/hr. All you have to do is be willing to work and pass a drug screen. Seriously. They're having a hard time find people. Kind of sad. But look in Oklahoma (Tulsa and OKC) and Texas. Companies like Willbros, Universal Pegasus, Audobon....

. Awesome that's what I needed to hear! And yes in 24, have no problem passing a drug test and suuuure don't mind long hours. All that means is more money in my pocket. Thanks for the info sir!!

What do you do by trade?
That's actualy ver hard for me to answer. Iv b web aroun and done alot of things really. Iv got about 3 years of working on the river doing different thing. Uh equipment operator (backhoe, loader, skid steer, farm tractor ect) I burnt with a torch for a while, I have a god knowledge of mechanical repair, general construction (dirt work) I just live in the arm pit of America. I'm wiling to do whatever it takes to learn anything a job may require me to learn. Plus like I said, a huge plus for me is that I can piss clean all day every day. Around my area, that's getting pretty rare! I'm not tryin to get rich, I just want to make a decent wage, ya know what I mean. I'll try anything except electricity!

DoesDad said it first but I recommend getting into pipe lining. I've been doing it for the past 4 years and have made great money. I am a land surveyor by trade. Work that I know of in pipelining is going on in South Louisiana, Oklahoma, South and West Texas, and North Dakota. A little bit in Mississippi.

It does require being gone for months at a time but the money is A+. Let me know if you are interested and I'll dig up a few contacts for you.

careerbuilder, snagajob, simplyhired, government jobs, usajobs.gov, helpwanted, check your local temp agencies as well

like I said- there are a ton of places out there, I have a degree in human resources I know these things and used them for various projects for staffing and hiring //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

A lot of them are partnered with other sites, so as you search you will sometimes come back to the same ones
