jl 500.1 or audiobahn 1300 hcx

hey im looking

at the jl 500.1 or a 1300 hcx amp

im getting an audiobahn alum12

rms of 1200

it can be wired down to 1 ohm

1300 hcx amp

1200 rms at 1 ohm

and has a remote nob to turn volume up or down

the jl amp only goes down to 1.5 ohm is this ok?

and is only a 500 rms constant from 12-14 volts

which amp will be better

which amp will be better

well the sub is rated 1200 rms so why would you want to only give it 500rms? Also keep in mind that Audiobahn overrates the power their subs can handle. The rms number they give is for ideal power, meaning an amp with almost no distortion. 1000rms would probably be enough if not too much.

the reason im thinking about the jl amp is that i know its real nice and clean power

ive herd that it better to go for the 500 wats of clean power then

the 1200 watts

i dont know how clean audiobahn amps are, or if they over rate there amps

so any one know any thing about either amps?
