JBL or Kicker

I have 2 Alpine 12 type R's. They are 300 RMS. I am looking at either a JBL BP600.1 amp or Kicker KX600.1. I am going to wire them for a 2 ohm load. That is so that i can get the most out of them. Also for any who knows are the power ratings for these amps based on a 12.5V battery or a 14.4V battery. Doesn't matter really. Oh and if you have any other suggestions post 'em. Thanks all.
