JBL BP 1200.1 for 150$

I was just wondering if this was a good price for this amp, i found it a pawn shop today. What are the specifications of this amp also?

yea thats a steal. It does 1200 @ 2, 1 ohms, 600 @4

Nice i think i might snag it it has some minor battle scars but seems to be fine and doesnt smell toasty ill check tomorrow and see if it works properly. Does this amp get hot running at either 2 ohms or 1 ohm ohm?

None of my BP amps have ever gotten hot at 2 or 1 ohm. Never had a 1200.1 though. They are usually $200 or more on eBay, so if it works then that's a good deal.

I have one of those. GREAT AMP! Have had it for years - still works like new. Great price, grab it.

I might start trolling the pawn shops down here in cincy to see if I can find some deals like that.....

i too have one of these...had it for ages and it's still perfect! not a single problem...it powered 2 infinity kappa perfects 12 and also powered a rockford fosgate 15" sub (1000rms/2000peak) and it was flawless.

for $150 that's a steal...$250+ on ebay these days

these things really hold their resale value. I bought mine for $300 in 01/02 and it's still hovering around that - techronics sells a new one for $400 :O

The pawn shops in Atlanta are terrible, prices on small crappy amps hit the $100 mark and anything good seems to be $250+ , $150 go for it if they'll guarantee it not DOA
