JBL 1200.1 amp is nuts

last night i got my jbl 1200.1 amp and hooked it up to my alpine type R 12 and with the gain barely on it ****in fried my wire going from the speaker terminal to the subs cone **** can i just souder that back together or what?

it's very hard to solder those wire effectively, you can try, but put aluminum foil under the terminal to protedt the speaker cone, the wire is usually a special wire that is woven sso it doesn't break because of vibration... good luck dude, ur gonna probly need it...

can i ask why you hooked up that amp to 1 type r??..i'm just wondering.. heh..
