Watched last night. They're going through the applicants for the first few episodes and showing the rejects. IMO, the best episodes to watch. Comes on tonight again, should be good entertainment.

I watched my first complete episode ever last night after seeing the previews.. The urban amish guy tripped me out..And the black kid singing Titanic who sucked..he stopped in the middle of his song to get a drink of water, then came back and started singing again..Oh yeah, can't forget the blonde white chick who was obsessed with Jewel and couldn't sing at all

I don't care what anyone says...it's entertainment to me.

Sometimes I wonder why these people don't have true friends that tell them "no, you can't sing, don't go". Instead those idiots tell them they can sing great. If you're a true friend, you'll hurt his/her feelings, but save them embarrassment.

LAWL!! It's about time someone started this thread! I LOVE LOVE LOVE American Idol... I know... I would right? ... but, but... the people during the tryouts are so **** funny!!! They actually have to go through a pre-screening/demo before they ever make it on to camera... so, what the hell are the pre-screeners thinking? 5 minutes of fame in the spotlight baby! hahahahahaha!!

I love music, there are a few shows like this out there , USA channel has one about country music... seems really staged tho... funny thing, jewel is hosting that one too! Americas got Talent, Rock Star... love em all!

I can only watch the first week or so when they show the complete jackoffs that get on the show and think they can sing.
