What do you guys think of the new Pioneer GM-D510M?

It will be puching 2 10" pioneer subs...(TS-W255C)

I know it is not the best, but it is a decent deal, and I heard that pioneer is actually improving on their amps a lot.

How much would you actually be getting it for? B/c MSRP of $300 is nowhere near what I'd actually pay for the amp.

yeah, neither would I...but disregarding price as a variable, is the amp worth buying. By this I mean is it reliable, does it perform well, is it capable of handling itself with some of the torture that I am known to put my amps through?

Yeah, I understand the whole price thing, but here is my dilemma.

Cheaper amps on the net/e-bay, but I am in Canada. It is a royal pain to order an amp, pay the exchange rate, pay the taxes at the border, and if something does go wrong with the amp I have to send it back to the US. All add up to be a pain in the ass.

I am willing to pay more for ease of operation. This way, if I have any problems I can run down to my buddies shop and get the warranty claim deal with immediately. This also goes for getting the amp or a replacement of a similar model. Instantaneous transactions. I go downtown and with my handy credit card I pay for the amp and 10 minutes later I am installing it in my car.

Honestly, the amp would be running me about $240 Canadian dollars. With todays exchange rate, it is $172.66 American. No shipping, no insurance, no wait.

Those are the main reasons as to why I am settling for this amp or a similar one as well as the subs.

If you guys have ideas hit me up.
