Dude anyone's worthy of competiting. If your gonna win thats a different story. Just go and compete and learn the tricks of the trade. Your not gonna be World record material ur 1st time out. Just go and have fun meet new people.

i have competed for my first time last friday and i got second out of 10 people!! i just want to make my car louder....how can i do that ??

Try putting some kind of sound daminer in your trunk. In theory that is sopost to make a 3dB increase but i doubt it happens in real life. Also I would say move your box around a little. Also it is noramlly better to have your box facing the rear of the car. That is normally how you will get the the best bass. Even try upgradeing your wire, put a new alt in, a deep cell battery. I am jsut throughing ideas out there. At your comp, did they use a mic or was it just by ear???

they used a spl mic...i hit 137.4 and the guy running it said that it was between 7-10 db lower them what it really is !! have u ever heard of wedging the drunk...like putting boards in the corners so the sound can bounce off of it??
