is this speaker blown?

i have a 12 jl w3, i try to hook it up and no sound comes from it, the cone is not frozen, like i can push it in. does all this speaker need is a recone? any help is appreciated.

Show a pic if possible. Theres lotsa reasons that could prevent a sub from workin, right now I have a prob, my tinsel lead at the cone is fraying, and it dont work half the time, also, make sure to check to make sure terminals are all secrued and the wire is in far enough.

I hear a lot about tinsel lead problems like slapping and braking... Why does everyone keep buying those brands??? They are obviouslly crap.

Well, they only cost me 5 dollars each. Good deal, but the stupid tinsel lead.

i payed 100 buck canadian for a working w3 and a broken one.
