Is it possible to have SQ subwoofer using 15"?

my system is very sq oriented. a PG Xenon 10 in a sealed enclosure with a set of 6.5" Xenon Comps. Plays very very well. Addin another set of comps or just coaxs in the rear of the truck. sounds so crisp

I am not sure is why I ask.

I know car audio but when it gets to a point, sometimes I get lost. I'm still a student. But I'm always willing to learn.

Because you can buy even cheap 10's with cheap motors and get good sq. The motor doesn't have to be as good on a 10 because the smaller cone doesn't require it.

Wow....that is WAY off. The motor, on any driver, is one of the major determining factors of performance. Having a smaller cone doesn't diminish the requirement of a well thought out and designed motor.

thats dependant on how its used lol i have seen total sh1t drivers sound great just not get loud or not in a small box environment and how you use it means more. infact if i ever get ahold of mike (he moved to gas city) i can show you some graffitti sound woofers lol ill yank one out of the box and pray a magnet doesnt fall off lol he won his class at a local iasca show to boot lol (98)

lol but it works its a camaro set up like my old bird sorta in the back with the 15's running ib . we took the "front" of the box off

get a SI MAG 15 and seal it at 1.25 and give it 800-1200 watts and end this discussion
