hello there i heard some guys says that EQ's doesnt help to increase the loudness of a system, in other words (INCREASE THE VOL.) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/moon.gif.9d317aec3339ffe7fde0638df52c628a.gif

acctually it does , try ur system without an EQ, acctually it will **** big time ,

i've tried that my self .... any comments ??

My deck has a very extensive eq, but my system is set flat(sounds awesome). An eq isn't made to make the system louder. If you want louder, buy more power. It will be cleaner.

depends... what my old clarion did was boost my pre out voltage... it was a 5 band eq... i had 2 volt preouts on my deck... with the panasonic i had... which was 2 volt preouts... i had 2 turn the gain almost all the way up to get good sound out of my bx1500... then when i put in the eq.... i had to turn it to about 1/3 of the way up... if that's what you mean by "increasing the volume" then yes it does... but most just boost the preout voltage... and they also have a volume knob on there as well

There are EQs that have linedrivers in them that can raise the voltage considerably. If gains are set correctly, there shouldn't be an increase in volume going from a 2V deck to a 4v, 5V, etc line out voltage.

Nothing'll (AFAIK) make your amp(s) produce more power than they are producing.

The line driver will give you a cleaner signal (lower noise floor with respect to the audio signal) and a higher preamp output voltage, but won't make the amp louder.
