installing 2nd amp

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif Hey, this would be my first post and I have a dumb question.

Well I have 2 10" kenwood subs, and my kenwood amp. Now my question is; I bought another amp for my 6x9's and I am not too sure on how to hook it up with my existing amp. Do I run new wires for it, or is there some way I can connect the two of them? Thanks

first,

what cd player do you have?

second,

what gauge of power wire are you running already if you already have something laid down for the sub amp

It is safer to run all new cable for the other amp. This is so you don't burn out the other and don't short anything out.
That is why they have FUSES. He is not drawing massive amounts of power with his 2 amps so it is a waste of money to buy a whole kit when all you need is a few feet of wire and a distro block.

YOu have 4 ga wire and that is big enough to run to smaller amps. Buy a distro block at your local area stereo store. This will take the power wire and allow you to plit it into two outputs. If the amp you have have preout outputs you can connect the amps together that way. If not you may have to Y split the RCA'S or if you HU has another set of outputs run another set. All you have to do about the remote wire is run a small piece of wire from one remote terminal to the other. Make a anther ground (use the same size wire as you power wire) and there you go.
