I am going to be building a false floor in my GTI in the back hatch. It will house my amps, cap and dist blocks. I will be using MDF. What I am looking for is:

WHat is the best glue to use?

What are the best size screws to use?

Carpet it or paint ir? (it will be covered be the original matt that is coveint the spare now)

should I dyno matt underneath it?

I think that is all I have unless you guys have some suggestions.

The whole point of the build is so when the hatch opens it looks stock and clean.

WHat is the best glue to use? Elmer's wood glue or Tite bond

What are the best size screws to use? I just use drywall screws, I dont remember the size. Make sure you counter sink when you can for a clean look.

Carpet it or paint ir? (it will be covered be the original matt that is coveint the spare now) Carpet if your going for the "stock" look

should I dyno matt underneath it? Sure wouldn't hurt.
