Infinity speakers???

OK, all I hear about and read about is Infinity Kappas or Perfects and how great they are. Can someone tell me what kinds of speakers these are? Are there different styles (high/low end)? How much? I am looking to buy some 6 1/2 components for my '99 Civic and I just want someone to tell me whats the deal with Infinitys!

Infinity Kappa Perfects are the top of the line for Infinity Component Speakers. They come in either 6.1 or 5.1. Both come with 1" Tweeters and the 6.1 has a 6.5" Midrange and the 5.1 has a 5.5" Midrange. I have these in my truck myself and I like them very much. They never distort and they are extremely clear. The rave you have probably been hearing is about either the Infinity Subwoofer 10.1 or 12.1, which is a 10" subwoofer and a 12" subwoofer respectively. They are noted for their extremely good sound quality even and can go to very high sound pressure levels (SPL) or more commonly knows as decibal levels (DB). Although most of the rave that you hear about concerns the Infinity Kappa Perfect subwoofers, their component system are equally as good. I say this from experience. You asked what type of speakers the Infinity Kappa Perfects are (the Infinity Kappa is one step down from the Perfects). Well as said before they come in Tweeters, Midranges, and Subwoofers. So theoretically you can have an entire system composed of Infinity Kappa Perfect speakers and subwoofers. You also asked for prices. Usually if you are going to by the 5.1 or 6.1 component set you are looking at around 300 - 350 dollars. That is probably ideal. I got my set installed for 350 dollars. Anything above 400 is drastically overpriced. Now, about the subwoofers. For those, you are looking at around 150-250 dollars. 150 is a very good deal. But if you are going to buy them from an authorized dealer (Where you get Infinity's 3 year warrenty), then you are looking at about 200-250 dollars. That is pretty much all I can tell you about Infinity subwoofers and speakers. If there is anything else you would like to know feel free to ask.

ey i got a civic too, i have the infinity ref series in and they sound great, and there not too expensive, they handle base well too

there 100 for the 61/2 and about 130 for the 6x9s

there not components but there good fo the price
