Will all these in-dash DVD's on the market play the DVD while the car is in motion? I have seen ads for work-arounds that "Electronically Bypass the required (Alpine) Brake Sequence to turn on the video while the vehicle is in motion." Is this needed for pretty much all the products on the market?

nope all u really have to do is ground the brake wire. THere is a wire that is suppose to connect with the hand brake.

rgr that. mine is "not to be watched while driving" so the wire is grounded to my frame. if u have it professionaly installed u will have to do it yourself since its illegal.

yeah, most brands you can just ground out the E-Brake ground to any other ground..

Alpine, as i found out...is a little differnt....
